The MEBDI Machine Learning Competition is back!

This page contains information on the 2021-2022 Competition (description, rules, etc.) along with the “Training Sample” to be used in the Competition.

GOAL: Devise a machine learning algorithm that provides the best out-of-sample prediction for the unemployment status of workers one year ahead. The sample is drawn from the matched US Current Population Survey data from 2008 to 2015. Details, eligibility requirements, and other competition rules are described in the document below.
